Our Flock LPR system offers optional settings for vehicle data capture based on personal preference or concerns about privacy. These options are available for vehicles personally owned by Oakmore residents only. See below for descriptions of the options and how to register for them.

Before you register your vehicles, please consider the following:

1. These options only apply to data captured by LPRs within the perimeter of the Oakmore Community LPR system. They do not apply to any of the numerous LPRs located outside the Oakmore LPR system. Once your vehicle leaves the Oakmore neighborhood, its image will be captured and logged by any other LPRs it passes.
2. Your registration request must be approved by the Oakmore LPR System Administrator. You may only register vehicles owned by and registered to you, i.e., not contractors, friends, etc. Your application will not be approved unless it includes the home address and email of the registered owner of the vehicle.
3. The resident is solely responsible for the option they choose.

Note: Choose only one option. Home and email addresses must be included on the form.

Option 1: Resident Safe List **	Option 2: Resident Opt-Out List **	Option 3: No Action
If you register your vehicle on the Safe List, vehicle images that are captured by the Oakmore LPRs only will be marked ‘Resident.’ They will not be so marked outside our LPR system. The ‘Resident’ designation is available to authorized law enforcement to help narrow their searches during their investigations.	If you register your vehicle on the Opt-Our List, no images of your vehicle will be captured by Oakmore LPRs. The vehicle will be ‘invisible’ to law enforcement searches while it is inside the perimeter of the Oakmore LPR system. BUT once your vehicle leaves the area, images will be captured by any LPRs it passes outside the neighborhood. (We do not recommend using this option. If your vehicle is stolen and not recorded by our LPRs, it may be more difficult for law enforcement to locate it.)	If no action is taken, then footage of your vehicle will be captured by the Oakmore LPR system and shared with authorized law enforcement agencies.
