The Oakmore Homes Association has taken several initiatives to bring to its members and neighbors information as to issues of public safety and ways to personally prepare for emergencies. Crime in Oakland, danger of wildfires, and pedestrian and bicyclist safety are subjects of neighborhood concern. Through neighborhood meetings with public officials, association committee meetings, online webinars, and information posted here, we communicate what we are working on, what we have learned, and how you may help.
